SolaRIS is a new government program that offers a cash rebate to Malaysian citizens who install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on their homes. The program is designed to help increase renewable energy capacity in the country and reduce carbon emissions.

To apply for the SolaRIS rebate, you will need to submit a Net Energy Metering (NEM) application to the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA)  from April 1, 2024 onwards.
